Well lets see

~1200 miles each way + ~20 miles of bullshit driving for food and whatnot.

So lets say 2400 total.

Averaging say 28 MPG (scion TC) thats about 86 gallons.

86 gallons at $3.30 average gas price.

So thats $284. Not too bad.

Lets just say theres people reconing basically all day long.

Not because they blow stuff, but its just so much power and a fresh recone with a super stiff spider is louder.

I'm a "noob" when it comes to competitions lol. I've been listening and learning enough to the point however that I think I'm ready to try my hand in the lanes. The local comps have taught me a decent amount, but the main reason for me going to SBN isn't as much for the "Ohhh's and Ahhhs" as it is for me to get a chance to talk to the pro's whom I'd never get any other chance to meet in person. This is going to be THE biggest learning experience for me for tips & tricks of the trade from you guys. I just hope there's going to be time for me to talk with you guys (in between competing, drinking, and B.S.'in) about car audio lol.

I'm going into Daytona blind basically, only knowing my locals (Lil jon, Lawyer Boy, galacticmonkey etc.) I really am stoked about meeting alot of you and I hope I get a chance to put a name with a face!

I look forward to seeing you all at the beach!
