i know. his numbers weren't nearly as good as what he did in chicago, but without him the tigers don't make the playoffs. it's not easy replacing 104 rbi's in the middle of your lineup

You could probably put Inge in the middle and he'd produce the same numbers. Maybe even higher. Every team has a 100 rbi guy, it is not that big of a deal anymore.

Even JD Drew had 100 rbi's. If you bat 3rd or 4th, you better be able to drive in 100 rbi's. Even Giambi with a .250 ba, knocked in over 100 rbi's, and he batted 6th.
