I can try, i wont have both 20.1's on it yet tho. Im having a hard time securing my door panel to the door with all my extra weight.

understandable, ive thought about that same issue when glassing.

Its not the added weight from glassing that im worried about, its the 14lbs in speakers. And the stock door panel isnt secured very well in the first place. Also, I lied, its dark and i didnt get as far as i wanted so no pics as of now. The doors are carpeted and the subs are in i just need to finish the trunk.

Thanks man Im happy with how they turned out. Im not happy with my carpet job tho, i need to use something other than fleece but il change that down the road. Got any suggestions for a material? Ive heard non backed carpet from JBLcamry but idk where to get it and if it is strechy enough. With fleece i only ended up with one seam/joint and it on the other side of the tweets so youll never see it. My inspiration for them came from JBLCamry so he gets some credit too.

yeah jbl has a pretty sweet setup.....you can get that carpet at partsexpress.com...its on sale right now for like 5.60 a yard

Lol at you thinks in my qoute. Thanks for the info, ill be getting some of this and redoing them when the fleece gets destroyed(shouldnt be long since its winter). I just wanted something on there so it didnt look like bondo n fiberglass. I am VERY happy with how the overall doors turned out but i think when i do carpet ill cover the whole door maybe(lmk what you guys think you would do). Thanks for all the interest. Gets me pumped to get this shit done lol.

just use a shit ton of adhesive. I'm thinkin fleece would stretch more. Try gettin ahold of MikeyB, I think thats his name, he did his door panels in the cougar and they turned out nice. i think he used the same carpet. If I can find some spare door panels I would love to do some glassing. I would get a grill over that 10 too, hate to see it kicked

Ik i wont kick it. But ive been thinking about a grill, only issue is the outside of the grills are wider that the mounting surface so it would look bad.
