Ok my bros doing a project for physics comparing spl in 4 different boxes useing some meter in not sure what yet. Well be testing it db drag style and bassrace

Sub- 12" kicker L7 D2

Amp- Directed 1500d @ 1 ohm

Boxes- 1cf sealed

2.5cf sealed

1.75 cf @ 35 ported

5 cf @ 35 ported

sounds like your going to have lots of fun for this assignment. I had physics last year, but i didnt have any fun projects like that. Good luck!

You should do a test with port area and find when too much affects SPL or if it even does. That would be more a fun experiment.

u should throw a kicker recommended 4th order bandpass in the mix

they will really flip when all the output is comming from a port
