SPL Sub for 1500watts and 4.2cuft

I just had all of my stereo stuff stolen and am now looking to replace it. I had a kicker 15" L7 in it, but I am looking to upgrade possibly. I live in Oklahoma just a few miles from where the company that makes kicker is, so around here Kicker stuff is pretty much what everyone thinks is the best. I have never heard of most of the subs that are highly regarded on this site. I am looking for a different sub that may get a little louder than the L7 in the same setup. I am custom making the same box that got stolen, which will be a fiberglass mold of my trunk, and it will be 4.2cuft. I have a Kicker KX1200.1 amp and the birthsheet said 1580watts. It is 1 ohm stable. Can anyone recommend a 15" sub that will fit these specs and be louder? Also, looking to spend $300 or so...don't mind getting something used. Thanks for the help.

I am very limited in what I can do. I have a 98 ***** Am and there isn't much room in the hatch back area. When I say that I am making the same box, I mean that I will be making a fiberglass mold of the entire trunk space, just like I did before. This is how I know it will be roughly 4.2cuft. In order to get the most volume possilbe I have to make a perfect mold of all the area I can. I haven't made the box yet, so I can cut whatever shape hole in it that I want, but it can't be any bigger than 15". It is a very close fit even at 15", I had maybe a half inch on either side of the sub. The last box was ported...I suppose this one will be too. SO, I can only have 1 15" sub or possibly 2 12's. Prefer to stay with 1 15" though.

do 1 aq 15. in 4.2 cubes tuned around 37 itll play retarded LOW.
