SPL contests should be done with music

Lol. I've got my daily driver and fun vehicle. I can go as far as I can afford with my car.
Doing an M4a right now (7k+ RMS).

Two AA 8.0TFE's this summer (30k strapped before rise wired to one ohm nominal)
When reffering to m4a just say 7k. Lol people who use term like my amp is 7k rms and 14k peak are noobs

Actually no. It blends in well because I dont have the gains high, or bass boost on. The rest of my speakers play the highs/mids without worrying about the bass. Its not overkill intentionally bass wise. But it does get loud. Maybe not YOUR loud, but as a daily driver it can get loud.
Anyhow, I will be looking for some of these contest to pop up.
So you say you have it blending with stock. Do you have blockers on you stock speakers?

What kind of stock we talkin here? Cuz I have stock speakers in my wife's car on a kenwood hu and shlt sounds clean and keeps up with 2 12s on 1500watts. People are pretty surprized when they hear it.

Mines not to terrible. I wouldn't want to put real bass on it though. You still have to find a way to cut the bass out of the interiors or its going to sound muddy.

Same........ basically with the bass at "0" on the head unit, the stock speakers do not have to struggle to produce bass. Thats where the sub kicks in. So it sounds pretty loud and clean.

That's not clean. You have a sub in the back and interiors producing the same frequancy range. If you put 80hz HPF on the stocks it will sound much better.

This is why people hate on kicker. People that like kicker think that sounds clean

Dude just give it up. It sounds good. Whether you doubt it over the interwebs or not. Go sit in your ride and enjoy your perfect car stereo.

All the **** you say doesnt make you look knowledgeable about car audio. It makes you look like a hater trying to pick a fight with Kicker.

Try putting the filter on them, you don't have to thank me.

Yeah that's what I run 80hz and up for fills and 80hz and lower for the subs I could probably go 60 but I' am ok with 80 atm..Don't let the fact he comes off like an asshat stop you from listening to his advice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/hilarious.gif.02a037aad04aa96f19982b298a3d70a8.gif

No bass from head unit and hpf crossed at 100hz for me

Yes hpf is a must

Naaa, Im good. Had everything installed by a local car audio shop. Had the sub amp tuned for me as well. Sounds very good as is. And no my sub and stock speakers does not produce the same frequency range. My sub is 80hz down approx.

Before I did this install, another shop suggested 2 10" RE's in a ported box run off of a 900watt Cadence amp at 1ohm. That would have been overkill for my needs. I definitely would have had to upgrade all my speakers, and add another amp.

Love my CompR. Does exactly and more of what I ask for. It gets more than deep and loud enough. I get plenty of compliments from those I ride with. They actually think its too much. Guess you have to be very, very young, into just shear output and need everyone around you to hear your bass at a stop light to think your system is good. Unless you do compete, what is the point of 4000watts and an SPL of 150 or more on a daily driver? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
whats the point of more than 120hp on a daily driver?
