Spl and Sq... help

I understand the basic principle of each but what should a person look for to tell whether a sub is a spl or sq sub? Also, I have pretty much decided to get 2 12" RF He subs. These are spl subs right, but do they have good sound quality too? Finally, who would choose Infinity Reference subs over the He's?

Most of the time a company is usuall known for making more spl subs or sq

subs, or a balance between the two. As far as telling the difference between

the two I believe that comes down to more of a listening session. Of course,

I'm always open to stand corrected! The HE's are going to be more of an SPL

sub will the Infinity subs will be more of SQ subs. Both are good subs, but I

would recommended listening to each if at all possible before making your

decision which to buy, that way you can pick the ones that best fit your needs!
