2 questions...
1) How do I determine the net impedance for component systems? Say there are 2 6.5" midwoofers, 2 1" dome tweeters, and 2 crossovers... on the specs sheet for this system it says the nominal impedance is 4 ohms. Does that mean either each side (1 midwoofer and 1 tweeter) has an impedance of 4 ohms, each speaker (midwoofer or tweeter) has an impedance of 4 ohms, or the whole system?
2) On the specs sheet for the same component system as listed above, the RMS wattage is 75watts. Does this mean that 75watts is being pushed by either each speaker, each side (1 midwoofer and 1 tweeter), or the whole system?
Logically I'm thinking that the specs sheet is displaying data for each side (1 midwoofer and 1 tweeter), but I could be wrong.
