If you have a nominal amount of electrical dexterity it's not too difficult.

You can jumper it off of the remote input on your other amp if you like. Just be sure there's not more than two or three remotely activated accessories being triggered by the head unit. It's a rather diminutive amount of current. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It would depend on how big the cable that feeds the sub amp is. What kind of wattage are we talking about and what size wire is in use currently?

..what about fuses will i be okay with that?
Here's where I depart from conventional wisdom and tell you I never use external fusing. Most likely every other member of the forum would suggest it but personally I am content to trust the fusing already present in my audio gear and thus far I haven't had reason to regret this policy.

The RCA cables will bring the audio signal from the head unit to the amplifier. Then from the output terminals on the amplifier you'll need speaker wire to carry the amplified output to your speakers.
