Well, the P9 setup that they offer is here.. somewhat.
I think the issue with this ODR stuff is that it would be 1% of 1% of the market... No volume. At the income-level target, how many are into high-end car audio in the states? There's a very very slim market for it.
Plus I think our market isn't into "everything the same brand" as a rule.
Who has brand-X head unit, amps, processing, speakers, sub?
So I can see too many reasons why this system wouldn't even be offered.. no buyers.
There's an imaginary crossover point of disposable income, high-end enthusiasm, etc... It's a black hole above a certain point... Otherwise, Zapco would be selling 50 times the number of stuff and clarion would offer 4 different versions based on the 9255 level of head units.
Same reasons why there's only two real 2 channel SQ head units on the market at the moment in the states at all and about as many high-end processors offered..
And for processors, they have to couple them to in-car surround capability to have a large enough audience looking at them.
Plus, I think we do have more offerings in what's important to us.. Convergience: DVD, Bluetooth, Sat radio, High-Def radio, DVD 5.1, rear-view cams, etc.. So high-end audio is just one itty bitty part of it.
