Speakers....

Looking to spend a maximum of 300 or so.

Its going in my RSX-S. I was told to just use two front speakers, and dont worry about using any rear speakers because the quality will be amazing and the car is small enough to do that.

No one really sits in the back that much, but what do you guys think?

I posted in the general discussion and got good replies but would like more opinions.

I'm going to get a 4CH amp, so I can run two channels for the speakers and bridge the other two for the sub.

Oh and they will be in the doors, 6 1/2 inch.

Going to be getting a sub in a few months. Already got my kenwood 5160 deck.

Rear speakers are useless... At least in my car. The seats block half the speaker. Many say only do a front stage. I would spend a little extra for a better quality front stage and some decent coaxials in the rear if you want some in the rear.

if you can save up a little bit more money i would get these.

I dissagree on only doing the front stage. Althought I am shure it differs by car and manufacturer, In my brothers monty carlo, about 65% of the bass was coming from his rear speakers. His rear speakers were 6x9's though and his front were 5.25's. I'm not shure what size your rear speakers are or how much difference it would make between 5.25's and 6.5's.

he has a RSX hatch back.

most small hatch cars are really nice for sound reprodution.

If you want SQ or SQL dont add rear speakers.

if you want just loud music then add rear speakers
