my dads speakers are sounding wierd i dont think there blown i have checked the wires 16341235 times and there not as loud and sound crappy please help

Can you provide more information.

What speakers, specifically what brand and model?

How are they powered, with the HU or an external amp?

Are you sure none of the settings were just changed?

two 12 inch sony explodes in a non ported box witha pioneer hu with a 760 watt pioneer amp i checked the gain and the settings on the hu i dont know the model numbers
