OK!!!!

I am currently building my system.

I recently purchased and installed this JVC deck

Now on to the fun part.

I do not want to invest in sub woofers and I have asked many people about this and have gotten some shithead from Best Buy or Circuit City who knows crap from crap telling me to buy Sony Xplod's when in reality Sony Xplods are ***.

So to my question, what would the best speakers be for my 02 Jetta 1.8t if i want a decent bass out of them with good sound. I am not looking for subwoofer performance, but I do not want mad distortion out of them when I turn the sound up. So something that gives off a good bass for a speaker.

Yeah, price will determine. For $150-$200 Polk db6500's are great, and play well down to 63 hz or so. If you can spend $350 or so, a set of Dls UP6's will blow your mind, and with an honest 50w rms will play down to 50hz no problem in sealed/deadened doors.

Well, MY price range is going to be around 700 for a new headunit and speakers. I am going to wait for wubwoofers and an amp. So 700 probably alone on A headunit and Speakers.

I'd do Dls Up6's from Tplaya07 here on the forum, and then pick any $300 HU off ebay or here. UP6's kick major *** man.
