Speakers Worth putting in

I have 2 12" subs and i barely hear the speakers. is it worth spending money on nice speakers? if so hwat is a good speaker for a ford explorer

first, tell us your whole setup all the way down to wiring and HU. There could be other factors at play that is making your speakers "barely" heard

Hell yes, look into a set of components that will fit your doors, you are gonna want a small two channel amp 75-150rms x2 to push them. Dynamating your door skins will help as well.

Don't use dynamat. It's overpriced. Get some second skin (anthony will hook you up with a discount), or if you don't have as much money get some edead for elemental designs.

for some cheap speakers look at the pioneer rev components or the phoenix gold rsd components. Also for amps, try something like a US Amps xterminator line. they are pretty cheap and for a small 2 channel it wouldn't be that bad.

I think that's a question for you to answer. Do you like music? If so, then it would probably be a wise investment. Like the others said, give us a breakdown of what you have and what you are looking to gain (as well as a budget) and I'm sure we can recommend something that will be money well spent.
