Speakers wont work but subs do HELP

i installed some after market speakers a few days ago after i finished they worked great. the the next day i installed a sub and amp. now the sub works but the speakers dont. i dont hear a thing. i checked the fuse, im thinking the head unit somehow broke. is that posible that the subs work but not the speakers. if not what is the problem. HELP!!

what car, what equipment, how is the sub amp hooked up?

well im new to this but ill try to help clear some info

its a 1987 toyota celica, the sub is a visonik n not sure bout the amp but it came with the sub in a kit. i hookedthe subs to the 2 channel amp then the amp to my BLAUPUNKT Austin CD41 stereo.

This is an odd problem, and is a headunit I'm not familiar with, but I did have a look at the online manual for it, but found nothing that would explain this.

Do the speakers work if you unplug the amp from the headunit?

10" sub, right?

bought it from pep boys?

i would pull the headunit out and check your wiring

lol yes i got them from pepboys. why are they not good? i did try working it without the amp by disconnecting it.

oh one thing i did was after i found it didnt work i found out that i was suppose to connect the blue remote wire to the amp. so when it was working a wire from the amp was hooked to a different wire but that would mean the amp wouldnt work.
