Speakers rattling some

I was wondering...I mounted the 6.5" midbass driver in my stock holes...they came with a plastic surround for the speaker to go into...But i mounted the speakers in the stock holes and I didnt use any kind of baffles or anything to place it in, into the doors...they sound really good...but when the midbass hits hard they sometimes rattle a bit...what could i do

where do you put the deadener at? i got a '94 ford f-150 regular cab.....would i put it between the door panels or what?

if your going to deaden the doors do it right the first time, Inner and outer door skins. and you may as well ditch the factory moutns and put in MDF and be done with it. Otherwise you may as well jsut live with the rattles.

Read the sticky about proper door sound deadening. If it's rattling just a bit, it may go away if you just do around the speaker itself.
