Speakers "Crackling"

I just got a new amp for my mids, and now if i turn up the deck to anything over 54-55, the mids crackle (stereo goes to 62). Now I've done just about everything I've read on the forums. I.e. grounded headunit, grounded rcas, put high pass to 100hz, etc.

So I'm wondering if it's the amp. (New ppi900.4, about a week old) or if it's something of my doing.

Also, something huge I forgot, it only crackles when the subwoofer is turned "on" on the headunit.

55 might be the limit on the HU. And if you hear it it's way to high

But on my amp I had before, I could go to 57, then it would distort at 58.

Than the gain is to high on the new amp.

I just edited my post. The thing is, it only starts cracking/crackling when I turn the subwoofer "on" in/on the headunit.
