The Problem
My speakers are shutting off, while the HU stays on.
This is what i notice while driving:
1. Speakers will stay on when A/C is on.
2. If A/C is off speakers will go in and out
3. If i speed up from a stop speakers will go out, But if i keep the speed consistent speakers will stay on longer.
The Vehicle and System
Honda Civic 2003 LX coupe.
HU: Eclipse AVX 2494
HU has AULOC
Rear speakers: Infinity Kappa 692.7i
Front Speakers: Stock
Amp: THUNDER 564
Sub: JL Audio 12w2 Not to sure on the model.
MORE 411
HU, Amp, Sub was all done by a local dealer. Got the kappa's for $60 so i installed them myself. rerouted my speaker wires and rca's from amp away from power and blue wire to reduce engine noise. Go away for one week and that is when i have problems.
MY Solution?
I am thinking about running speaker wires directly to HU from wire harness and removing auloc, amp and sub to see if it will fix the problem. But im totally a noob to all of this. so please help
Thanks
