hello,

my subs keep cutting in and out while i'm listening to them the amp is hooked up right and the speaker wires are tightly connected

, i think the power wire is comeing loose on the amp.

please help

are your head lights also dimming? if so the problem is not a loose wire but your amp is trying to draw more power from your altenator than it can supply... and by the way, what do you mean,

"i THINK it is a loose wire"? did you check it? either its loose or not! check it and find out!!!

let us know if its the wire or not and we can explain some more resolutions for your problem - and also tell me what kind of car, the specs of your system (amp and sub) and how it is wired.

later

good luck and good listening!
