Hey guys I am kinda new to the whole speakers scene and need some advice. I was wondering what you would recommend for decently cheap speakers with good quality. I am a beginner so I was wondering if you need to buy an amp to go with the speakers or not. Thank you

First youll have to do a little research and see what size speakers your vehicle has.

Tweeters and door speakers come in many sizes.

Aftermarket speakers can be used on a radio, but if you want them to be louder then you will want an amp which will need more work done.

Aftermarket radios tend to have a better internal amplifier then stock so it will genuinely sound good with new speakers.

Everything RayGen12 said/typed. And I learned years ago putting a great speaker on a mediocre source signal can sound pretty amazing! And with an even higher quality signal from a really good head unit, WOW!

I'm all in favor of great speakers, and bought come $640 a pair PHD 5.1 Pro AF 5.25" drivers with separate tweeters, and WOW! PHD - Speakers - Model AF 5.1 KIT PRO -

No you dont need an amp to run aftermarket speaker but they will sound much much better with an amp. If your looking for cheap sound quality then pick up a headunit with a good eq on it and buy a small sub to free the speakers from playing bass. You can make a stock system sound much better. If you are planning To get aftermarket speakers i would reccomeded getting an amp for them.
