speakers for a volvo

I need to replace my speakers in my 88 volvo 240Dl sedan

could someone tell me what my best bet would be for the bets sound

i can put 4" in the front doors and just about any size speakers behind the back seat, I just have to make the molding for it.

i was thingking

INFINITY KAPPA 4" Car Speakers Set 42.5i for the front

and

INFINITY PERFECT 6.1 6-1/2" COMPONENTS in the back

witht he tweeeters in the side panels behind the seat( where you get the blind spot when you drive, between the back door and the back window)

Those are some nice speakers, but you might rethink what you've got going on. You're going to put a couple of inexpensive Coaxial speakers up front & put some expensive seperates in the rear??? Seems like your priorities are backwards....Do this: put some Boston Pro 4.5 components up front--they'll give you fantastic sound and offer great power handling. Then, drop some simple Boston RX67 or even FX6 6.5" coaxials in the rear. All of this stuff is available CHEAP at http://www.usautosounds.com . The overall spending will be the same...or cheaper and you'll get your "high roller" speakers upfront with you rather than in the rear. Anyway...that's how I'd do it.

the only prob i have is that I can only fit 4 " speakers in the doors and I have tried to make molds for other sizes but i always seem to have a prob them.

and I also have the window to work with

the infinity was the one that gave me the best deal withthe size and the space.

buthtnaks for your suggestion Ill deff keep in mind

the reason Im puting a better speaker in the back is because the bass im getting out of the subs out dose the treble in the car. so I just thought it might be good thing to give the back seat drivers a little more highs.
