speakers dieing out

so ive recently bought a 200 watt amp to hook up some component speakers up to it the amp is a kicker dx and the comp speakers are kicker dx65 i have the rear speakers hooked up straight to my head unit nad the comp speakers to the amp the max peak of the speakers are 120 and the rms is 50 the thing i sthat when i bump the volume to high my component speakers start to die out first its starts with the driver side then the passenger side these are all in the front....i have a pioneer premire stereo any idea what might be going on??
