Speakers cut out.

PLEASE HELP

I need help with this my speakers play fine and then they cut out. It just started and it plays then all of sudden it will shut off and then come back in. the subs still are playing but the speakers don't put anything out. I'm wondering if anyone has a solution to this problem.

all your speakers?(front/rear?) but the sub keeps playing...

all the speakers, they faintly play but the subs keep hittin then the speakers will come back on. The play for a bit then go faint and pop back on.

check to make sure that you're wires are connected properly, (nothing showing where they connect to the head deck). Make sure the head deck is grounded OK. and than check to make sure that there is no cuts in the speaker cable, because if this touched a metal surface it would cause it to stop momentarily.

thanks they are running of an amp I should of clarified that. The rca's are all good I will check all the wires.

In that case make sure that the remote wire is connected properly, and again with the grounding of the amp this time.

Just to clarify, does it happen when the car is sitting there? or when you drive?

speakers work at low volume then once the bass kicks in it will go out and play really faint then come back on. I'm lost and kind of want to listen to music haha. Please help want to get this done.

also i hear like scratching noise or something like that. sounds like little clicks then stops and comes back. Sounds like it might be clipping but not sure.. PLEASE HELP

Is the amp going into protect? Is the sub amp drawing too much power? Watch the amp while playing music. When it cuts out, does the light go out? Does the protect light come on?

Just noticed, you said you hear scratching noise? Sounds like a loose connection. Check your power and ground connections, make sure they aren't loose.
