I been crying on here for a while about how bad my speakers sound , and amp going into protection mode. Well I found the reason.
Im getting water in the door. It looks like the way I popped my wires in the door, water seeps through when it rains and lays on the terminals.
On both speaker terminals im getting 03.5- 03.8 ohms but when I put the beep thing on , the meter beeps
Both front speakers are getting continuity on the terminals and I only tested one tweeter and its also getting continuity. As I had my crossover disconnected I threw the meter on the wires for the tweeters and they're getting continuity too.
Im gonna try and get these wires in the door boot instead of jammed between the boot and the door.
Do you guys think I can fix these for now? Can't spend any money on new speakers for a while.
