Speakers/amp wiring

Hey guys, I'm sure this question seems pretty dumb but I have no clue how to wire my speakers to my amp. I have 2 12" rockford fosgate subs powered buy a rockford fosgate mono amp and 4 rockford fosgate speakers in my single cab truck. I want to know how to wire the 4 speakers myself to an alpine mrx-v70 4 channel. I know I need to run new speaker wire to them but what I don't know is what to connect to the amp to get signal from the head unit to the amp to the speakers. If anyone can help I would appreciate it very much eventhough it's a pretty dumb question.

what head unit? that determines how you connect from the head unit to the amp(s). you already have the 12's, mono amp, and speakers in the trunk now and want to add the alpine 4 channel?

the amp manual will show you diagrams how to connect speaker wires to the amp and speakers. that's your best source for info. basically run new wire from each speaker to the 4 channel amp. land one wire per terminal as shown in the manual.

until we know what head unit we cannot answer that portion.

I have a pioneer deh-x6600bt and it's all in a 2dr truck.

You just meed to conmect rcas from your headunit to amp. Your amp has another set of rca output youll need y splitters to run all 4 channels. We have the same truck i got a 90 RCSB

Hey thanks for the help, that's all I wanted to know since I wasn't too sure on it. Now I can get to work on it since I'm trying to replace my setup.
