Speakers... .Advice

I have marantz 3000 speakers but they just don't do what i want (get loud and sound good) It also seems that bass response is a little flat for rap...

Best bet would be to audition those speakers before you buy. What is your budget? You may be able to get something newer which may sound better and still get loud.
