i'm not sure that i understood your question, but if you're talking about running wire from the sub to the speaker terminals on the outside of the box then just use speaker wire, 14 gauge is probly fine.

14-18 ga should be fine, usually for me its whatever i have left on my spool-o-wire.

subs i run 12 guage, speakers i run 16guage (was gonna go 14 but sed fuk it, mainly cause i never saw it and didnt really care lol)

why u ask...... honestly no idea

The bigger the better. Depends on current draw and length of run (inside and outside box to your amp)

The type of wire doesnt really matter either. Here lately ive started to use 14 ga. extension cords that I had just laying around when I didnt have any speaker wire. Works great, and besides, wire is wire lol.

inside a box i would use 12 ga. i also use that out side of my box also
