Speaker wire

I bought 16g wire, its like two wires. You can peel it apart... You guys know what i'm saying. Anyways, should i treat them like 2 completely separate wires. Hooking one up to a positive and one to a negative. Or should i treat it as one wire, striping both wires, and twist them together. Only going into the pos or neg for example.

yes use both conductors as a single wire for that much wattage

if you could get some 12 gauge speaker wire an you'll be fine.

maybe you should take some meds or somthing if you feel like shit, seriously there are two wires for a reason. positive and negative. use 12ga wire. i dunno why no one has asked what size wire it is in the first place

*edit nvm didnt see you said 16ga and that some suggested 12ga wire...i would just get 12ga wire, it would be alot easier than using dbl 16ga. you can goto walmart and get some if your in a hurry, but i like to get all my wires from http://www.knukonceptz.com i use the 10ga wire.

yeah i saw that now. i think i completely misunderstood his first post. i think he was asking since he has 1600 and only 16ga wire if he should dbl it up. but i was thinking he had no idea why there were even two wires to begin with regardless of the size wire and wattage.

I was in a hurry and walmart was 10 minutes from closing and they only had 8g power wire and 16g speaker wire. I said **** it, worst case comes to worse i can just twist em together.

I'm not buying another 50 feet of this shit. I only needed like 10 too. Its bullshit, so i'm just going to double it up.

But please man, i don't know everything. I really don't need you making fun of me. Although you did seem to be helpful in your last posts. Thanks for that.
