Speaker Wire

8 guage wire is recommended, but you could use 4-guage wire for better signal transfer.
Did you actually just recommend using 4 guage wire to give signal to the subs?

This is rediculous, as the terminals on an L7 don't take wire anywhere near that big. They would take 8 guage, but even that would be overkill. I've sold and installed many systems using kicker L7's and in every case they were just fine with 12 guage speaker wire.

To the original poster: Go with 12 guage
