Speaker Wire size

For speaker wire?!?!?! Good luck hooking up 0 gauge to a sub. If you mean power and ground wire, it would never hurt to use 0 gauge, but for subs 12 gauge is sufficient enough and maybe 10 to be safe.

Hmm.. based on length of wire.. I'd say you need 0/AWG if you are running ~4500 Watts to one speaker.. 17 ft of 0/AWG can run 1800 watts (~260 amps on a 50% efficient amp(s) ).. as the length goes down so does the need for biger wire.. Even at 4500 you might not need 0/AWG..

Hell, while you're at it, why not 0000 wire? make sure you can never hurt the wire while getting signal to the speaker //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
