Speaker wire size requirements???

Is there required speaker wire gauge for amount of wattage ur amp is pushing? My amp is 1200w rms. what size should I have?
I use no less that 12ga on every speaker and no less that 10ga on subs..Thats me though.Habit formed

8 ohms -

6 ohms -

4 ohms -

2 ohms -

1 ohm -

12 gauge: ~21.8 amperes

8 ohms -

So u know the individual slots on the ISO connectors and where they go? 12 volt red is accessories. etc. Red wire goes to the amplifier...
