I am upgrading my sub/amp combo from a cheapo rockford fosgate r2 10" and 250/1 amp. I got a steal on a barely used JL 500/1v2 and my 10w3v3 2 ohm just came in. I'm upgrading my 8ga power and ground to the stinger 4 ga before I install it. Only thing left is to choose the right size speaker wire. I know my amp can support 8ga but I feel it would be overkill. So my question is, go with 10 or 12ga speaker wire for this setup?
