speaker wire gauge

I'm looking for speaker wire for 2 woofers that's getting 750wrms a piece. What gauge will be sufficient and what brand wire? I hear a lot of Knu Conceptz installation products being best bang for the buck. Seen some Stinger 12ga and 14ga wire going for similar prices on eBay as well. I believe the local Walmart has monster 16ga for $15 for 12ft or something like that. Will that work?

For that power I was using 10 ga, you could get away with some 12 ga, but I wouldn't bother going smaller than that.

overkill, but I like to use the biggest that will fit and will fit in budget too.

Yeah, that is overkill for what he's running, I always use 8 Ga for speaker wire but I'm also running more power than he is too.
