Speaker wire @ 1500-1700 rms?

I plan on running 1500-1700 rms @ 2ohms, 2 subs...kicker s15l7s off a zx1500.1. My question is...is it ok for me to stick with my 16 AWG kicker speaker wire? Or should I upgrade to the 12 awg?

I'd order at least 10'. You'll probably use at least 2 in the box. It never hurts to have some GOOD extra speaker wire laying around.

Should be a 15 since V=pi(r*r). 7.5" radius * 2=15" diameter
