Speaker suggestions for 2 way active

I've looked at madisound and part-express and can't really decide on which speakers I want to go with for being active. I'm gonna stick with 2 way first maybe in a few months go 3 way if I feel the need for more spl/sq control. I want very good sq my sub is tuned so I'll need my midbass to subsonic at like 65ish. I haven't had any experience with morel seas or peerless so what would u suggest with these all running under 220ish.

Tweeters I was thinking dd T2. I can get them local cheap and they can go down to 2k. Thoughts or upgrades on this?

I'll be running off a sax 100.4 so I'd like to keep the rms above 100 since the amp can handle it.

I use:

crossed at 2.15khz

They actually don't sound very well without eq'ing. But now dialed in they sound awesome. I've tried a couple other speakers and ended up with these. Ran off sax 100.4d. and they get loud

I grabbed a set of rainbow slc and I'm going to biamp them first and see how they go and then try active if I don't like it.

I was gunna suggest the Digital Designs German comps DDAW-6.5 with the DDAT-28 tweets but you would have to budget a little more than 200-250. I have heard mixed opinions on the Rainbow lineup so I'm curious as to your thoughts on them...

If I had active capability, I would buy the Hybrid Audio Imagine component set and go active with them. They cost "only" $250 but reportedly are on the level with JL Audio C5s. This price is a steal and can compete with DIY drivers. Some people report that tweeters get harsh depending on their placement, but I assume that's not an issue with active crossovers. This set is really cool because like most other HAT products, the mid is supposed to cover the entire vocal range resulting in superior imaging if your mid is not mounted right next to the tweeter. A good crossover frequency between the mid and tweeter for this set is above 5000Hz. The manual recommends to low pass the mid no lower than 65Hz.

active processing is important rather then choosing your dream speakers at the moment
