2003 mitsubishi eclipse.

HU: alpine9853

SUBS: (2) JL 12W6 (old school) sealed box

FRONT: JL Audio XR650-CSi

REAR: JL Audio VR690-CXi

SUB AMP: JL 500/1

FRONT/REAR AMP: JL 300/4

my question is, should i ditch the rear 6x9's and upgrade the front components?

if so any ideas which components i could run using the 300/4 amp.

any input would help, i havent done anything lately to my system except the hu.

i listen to alot of rock/heavy metal not to much rap. i love really loud highs and mids so give me some ideas on upgrading my system.

if you read much around here you'd know that many of us don't use a rear fill. so my suggestion would be yes ditch those and use all that power you have on the frontstage.

if you are looking to upgrade, what is your budget?

$300-$400 for components as long as i could still use the 300/4 amp i have.
