Speaker Question

i'm bout to put some new components in kickpanels for my front stage in my grand cherokee and i was thinking about throwing some 6.5" midbass drivers in my rear doors and deadening them for rear fill......would this be a good idea?.....i have my sub game all worked out so now i'm working on improving the rest of my system...i want this stuff to be able to keep up with my subs and for my system to be be able to play nicely at all ranges of bass......so what do u think?

Depends on the vehicle i guess. Rear fill has plenty of advantages and disadvantages. Do what my HS councelor told me to do when I was contemplating what school to go to: take a sheet of paper and make two columns - one for the advantages and one for the disadvantages to running rear fill. My guess is that the disadvantages will out weigh the advantages, but hell what do I know?

Sad part is that there are a lot of people, especially in northern MN and WI that talk exacty like that!!

As long as you have strong front speakers, you shouldn't need those in the rear.

I lived in NH for a couple years from 1998-2000. They were still saying wicked and if you met a local yocal it was awful, they have some kind of cryptic accent that makes even the MN folks sound normal...... plus those people from MA were just plain dirty... east coast sucks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
