So yeah, 24 15s in a bandpass, with 6 Sundown 3000Ds. Should be loud. Im 6'5 220 and if I put a stool in the ported chamber, I can sit in it. Not touching the sides or roof. At one point there were 3 people in there and it wasnt even cramped. Loading subs is going to be so easy compared to my last box. With the BTLs I had to take out a seat, have Lil Jon do a headstand in the clam while holding the subs with his feet, lean in on my back and hold the sub up as well, and have Big Mike screw it in.
This will be easy because you can just grab a sub, walk through the port, and mount the sub. You can actually walk around inside there. Last thing it needs is more bracing. Its all 1.5" thick inside, all resined and in some parts even glassed. Most places have 1.5" thick MDF, 2x4s, and then the 2x4s are braced by more MDF and sometimes thats even braced by more 2x4s. This box couldnt not be more solid. Theres like 1" rod going through the box, holding the port on. Its like a fawkin bomb shelter.
Keep in mind, its basically all done now. These are old pics. Just waiting on subs.
Yeah, we were thinking a plain sealed would cancel a good bit, but since its a bandpass, it all kinda catches up as it exits through the port, or at least thats the idea.
My prediction: Death caused by excessively loud deebeez.
Or something of that nature/sort.
Bodily harm is certain.
Oh and.. slightly louder than the 30 10's on the TL sealed up at the dash //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif
