Space behind magnet

Ok I decided to build a quick box for my H3 to have a stealth apperance. I want to make it very low in height so I'm wondering what space I need behind the magnet/voil coil vent so it wouldn't effect performance. If mounthing depth is around 4.25" can I have the indside around 5"?

Thanks, I should have at least .75. DO you find a bigger box is better for a sealed box? I had a sealed box that was 2.23 for 2 JL audio 10's (just older regular ones) in my HUmmer H1 and they sounded pretty good. Now I'm wondering if I should make a smaller box for the H3 I have.

The old box was 46x12x7 ( around 2.23 cft)

The new one I want to make today is around 41x19x5 ( around 2.25 cft)

This way I can use 2pcs or 24"x48" sheets I already have to amke it all. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Well here is the finished product:
