Space Behind a Sub

Hey, whats the minimum clearance there should be, behind a woofer?

Is 3/4" too little? I'm assuming it is.

Not sure, its a RF Power T1 12 D4 -- It came in a box.... Havent seen it before.

Id say at absolute minimum 3"

Well, Im building a slot ported box, so if I put the sub past the back wall of the port, there is a good 4"... does that matter at all, or should the sub beover the back peice to the port?

Heres a quick pic... 1, 2, or 3 positioning for the sub???

Actually, I just measured, it would be like pretty much in between the 2 and 3 triangles there... is that ok?

id do position # 2 or 3

I think anything over about an inch would work fine...

Yea i don't see what the problem is with having little space DIRECTLY behind the sub, as long as the box is big enough.
