I guess it depends on what you consider top-of-the-line. Some people think JL Audio is top of the line, but in my eyes they're shit because they're not real performers vs. price. Then I know of some companies that sell awesome equipment but they're not mainstream - wait, does that make them not top-of-the-line? Its all perception.I do have a very good idea of what I want to do, just wanted to know generally the best places to look for near-or-at top-of-the-line equipment.
I predict a major fail then. That's just throwing money at a project and hoping for good results. Are you sure you don't work for the goverment? .... anyways, good luck with that.And, I prefer to plan things backwards I guess: Start with the absolute best I can possibly come up with regardless of price, then back down from there until it is affordable.
