Soundstream T5 subs???

Has anybody heard these subs? I can get them for cheap. but dont want to waste my time if there not worth it.

I wouldn't mess with them the mechanical limit is lower them the xmax of most decent subs.

A piece? if so not in my opinion for a hair more then that there are plenty of awesome barely used subs on here all day for sale.

yeah a piece. do you have any suggestions? Right now i have to ppi pro 104s, and a soundstream dtr1.2200. Looking for something new.

well the xmax of your current sub is more then the one you are looking could possibly move period, If I were you I would re-build the box that is a 1000wrms sub it's possible of more if you have it in a pre-fab box as of now.

T5's are **** good subs, well worth the money and can take more than they are rated for and they get pretty dang low/loud.

Best part, warranty... Yeah, you MIGHT be able to find something "comparable" on here for roughly the same price that is used/abused but why would you want to do that? Most people on here (including myself) aren't fans of "main stream" brands but SS has proven itself time and time again to build some pretty bad *** shit.

I'm just not impressed with the specs on that model there high end stuff is nice but that is not the high end especially when you compare it to what he has at the moment it would not be a step up is all I was saying.

I run that shit fool. Does the job and gets mad crazy low. i hit at 144.5 tuned to 33hz. and I hit 141.1 tuned to 26.5 things rock hard to all types of music. I changed my setup and now only run one sub in a folded tline box, OMG, one subs souns so sexy smooth dude. they can handle the powa too. Rated at 900RMS-1100 peak. I run mine at 1200rms. If I had a different ride I probly could have got louder. The spec say the do well in 3 cubes tuned to 36hz each. all I had room for was 4.5 cubes max VS the 6 cubes max I needed to get louder. I got 1st and 2nd in seprate competitions... I would love to grab some at that price. I paid $300 for one sub 2 years ago. $100 per sub is a steal bro. Don't get discouraged by the other dudes. IMO these are fine subs.

Would you consider these SQ subs? I'm very interested in these for their price and rms rating. i might put one in my trunk and run 1100rms at it in a sealed box...
