soundstream rub1.2500D

From what I know they're not very efficient. A guy on here noticed a difference going from a RUB2500 to an AQ 2200D and he said it got louder, lower and had better voltage.

I've never used it so I can't say for sure, but you get what you pay for.

Yeah that was me...

They are good amps if you got the voltage but they are power hogs. They are rated at 14.4 so if you have any kind of drop don't expect the full power. If you can get one used for a good price then sure but if your electrical is average I would look into something more efficient. The amps themselves are beasts, they can be ran all the way down to .25 ohms IIRC

I ran four of them... great amps for the price, I believe they do fairly close to rated power, and I ran mine @ .67 (1.33 strapped for two) to three SPL HX 12's, and I ran four @ 1 ohm for a show on four SPL HX 12's... tried re-wiring to burp @ .25 and my older ones did not give in but the two newer ones went into protection but came out harmlessly after. I believe .33+ ohm will be fine, as long as you have the voltage to back it up. PS for the pair that ran @ .25, I def heard a noticable difference in output from my two drivers that were hooked to them.
