i'm curious as to what is the coil configuration of the subs?

if i remember correctly the Since the Massives are basically 2 1500.1 strapped they are rated at 2 ohm and wont do lower, whereas the SS are 1 ohm amps.

i recently purchased a ss 3500d it bumped hard fpr about 2 weeks then it died was under warrenty so it gone back for repairs,then i will b selling it to my cousin,but i know of a lot of people that r having problems with ss amps,just throught that i would let u know.

I'd go Hifonics personally. Or maybe a Lanzar Opti4000D

x2. Went with lanzar in my latest install just for the nicer price, but would've gone with Hifonics if I was a little bit more patient.
