soundstream help!!?

i got a soundstream van goh 800.2 amp for christmas it has worked fine. but yesterday i wanted to see how it would sound in my friends car so we hooked everything up and all that it worked great and sounded even better. i took it out and braught it back into my house i hooked it back up in my house. and as soon as the power turned on i heard a high pitch squeak or screem but not very loud. then as soon as i turn the music up the sound gets louder the louder the music the louder the whinning its allmost as if im hearing the energy in the amp or something this happened to my friends old amp befor it blew

should i be worried?

what should i do?

ive allready contacted soundstream im waiting for a reply

seems to be a common theme with these amps....did you buy them authorized?

yea its authorized. when i send it back are they going to send me a new one? or fix,rebuild it? thanks.

no over the counter warranty with Soundstream, unless the dealer has some sort of replacement warranty within' a certain span from purchase date

Take the amp to the dealer, have him ship it out to Soundstream- if its non'fixable they will credit the dealer for a new amp and replace it....

Dealt with them recently, with a blown sub- took 4.5 months just to find out that Soundstream credited dealer back

ok i talked to the dealer they said i can have a refund or wait for the amp to come into stock. so i asked how long? im awaiting a responce. thanks for the help.
