Not to be harsh, but that's just not Soundstream. The old school amp you have IS Soundstream. There has never been a company that sold out and actually IMPROVED quality IMO. Most of it get's taiwanese boards and a big name brand logo and life goes on.

That isn't harsh at all, it's pretty much known. I agree with you, I love the older SS amps. My 700s never failed me. Problem is that it won't be enough for the XXX.

Yeah, he is more than willing to do it for me, I just bother him too much....lol Plus he is mad busy right now.
