two 12s will be louder than a single 12....same enclosure styles

1 ported 12 can get louder than 2 12s sealed.....

(I personally like single sub setups)

i completely disagree...

i've had lots of playing time with 12w3's and i can confidently say these are weak sauce subs... one on one the RL-P would obliterate the w3 in both SQ and SPL... one rl-p vs two w3's is still actually comparable (imo)

owned two 12w3 in ported enclosure and they got loud but it wasnt my style. My rl-p 15 has better sq and still is loud enough for me.

2 12w3's would be plenty loud, a friend of mine has 2 in sealed boxs on a MB Quart amp. It gets louder then my single 12" type R with 1000 watts going to it. If you got a larger amp I would say the w3's. But with your amp I would go with the single Rl-p. Everyone who has them say they sound amazing. I want one...
