I bought one so far and plan on getting another on payday. should I strap them or run one sub on each amp? btw im running 2 15 inch strokers 2ohms dvc's

strap the amps and run both 15's wired a .5 ohms? I haven't asked if they will do .5 straped?

I wouldn't do .5 strapped.. That'd be .25 at each amp

well I can run a amp on each sub at 1 ohms or I can wire the subs to .5 or 2 and strap em. yes I know I shoulda just got the quebed 3500 and ran em at .5

Out of curiousity...what have you owned before? This might just be enough power to cone area for you.

If you run it at 2 ohms strapped then each amp will be at 1 ohm.. So do that

Two amps strapped at 2 ohms makes each amp see a 1 ohm load. .5 for daily is a bad idea unless you have really good electrical to back it up.

AQ/SQ isn't hyped for being underrated. They do right around their rated power.

yes I need another but not till the first of month..

as for what I have ran in past most recent was I had my 15's running on two BXI2008D's at 1 ohms on each and I also ran em with one BXI2008 at .5 on both.

those hifonics amps could do over 2k rms at .5 but ran warm.. first time i ran a bxi2008 at .5 I had a 4 foot peace of 12g wire maken the jump from the 2 subs for a test and I fried the wire in 5sec.... loved those amps wish they still made em like that. power system 4 hc2000's in back many 0 g runs stock alt

you may run into trouble running two 2200s with a stock alt.

im shure ima have probs with a stock alt..just found out theres a way to replace a pt stock alt with out taken motor out...u can get to it if u take a wheel off. so looking into it. in the past I was ok on power running 4k rms "wasent true 4k" if I put a charge to my batt bank every now and then. thinking the 2200's gona pull alota more than the bxi's did tho

They shouldn't be that much worse.. They should be more efficient

I said this before in a thread. the layout of the bxi and 2200 bords are almost the same. only big diff is the 2200 has almost 2 times the power transistors, and spreads every thing out on a bord that's 4 inches longer. im shure there are a few upgraded parts but the main lay out is dead on
