Pure output. SQ

Output that's easy to work with. JL

You could make the JL get as loud as the SQ but you would lose all the JLs sound quality capabilities.

It is what it is.

SQ is a big cookie cutter China woofer. Not bad for the cost. You get a lot

JL is a 15 year old tech that was ahead of its time. Holds a lot of patents. Made in the US but I'm pretty sure it all comes from China.

ahhhh i see... good pointers right there.

the w7 by a long shot. they can get awful loud and sound way better than those SQ woofers. granted your going to get alot of group delay. if you want a mix of both Id probably look at the SSA audio woofers.. the xcon in specific..

Not really. W7 has a cone area advantage and more useable bandwidth.

Id honestly rather have the w7. They get loud enough and will sound immensely better and more linear than the sq

The two seem comparable.

The w7 is 4x more expensive than the hds3 (that's not comparable at all ). The w7 would be more comparable to sub from ssa, fi, or ascendant (those brands upper mid tier line such as the icon/xcon, btl, havoc )
