This is true. What usually blows are the outputs and regulators. Pretty simple fixes. I would assume the same problems occur with the Zenon based product or other brands for that matter.

Actually no, Zenon based amps both have controller board SMT mount failures as well as common power supply issues / FET failures.

Hm. Interesting. What usually causes this failure? Poor regulation? Heat? This controller board you speak of - is it a daughter board that can be removed and replaced easily?

This would be the power supply controller? If yes, it can damage together with the power supply.
